Cardiac PET Shared Services
The MIS Shared Service option, or block-lease option, allows smaller, lower volume practices to provide this cutting-edge imaging modality to their patients. By sharing a dedicated Cardiac PET Scanner and imaging suite with other physicians or groups in your area, you can take advantage of a very cost-effective method for providing Cardiac PET services.
Our model meets all required Stark and Anti-kickback consideration. The model allows as many as 5 physicians or groups to share a dedicated Cardiac PET scanner that will be placed in a central location. The imaging suite will be designed with exams rooms to enable physicians to schedule consult office hours during their allotted lease time. All image interpretation, billing and collections are performed by the physician or group performing the studies.
